CLK500's wheels
I know on MB's US website and many other pics I've seen, the 500 has thin spoke AMG wheels; but I believe the Euro avantgarde has different ones as seen in the 1st pic in the following link:

Does anyone know if these wheels will be available in the US...? I think they look a lot better than the thin AMG wheels (looks more aggressive IMO) Thanks

Available as an accessory - yes. Available as a factory option - not a chance. M-B doesn't have optional wheels available for any model in the USA, except when they're part of a Sport package.

The wheel featured in the first photo comes with the following model for European and Asian deliveries :
240 Avant,320 Avant 16"
500 Ele or Avant 17"
Wheels design is called "Incineo". It is meant to offer customers an alternative to the more expensive and racing-look AMGs.

you're absolutely right wowow!!
i think alot of the american customers get confused cause the factory choices and options for the US market are limited.
As for the asian and european markets, customers have a large range of flexible choices and options to choose from.
For example... i get the impression that the US spec CLK500 are available to them only in avantgarde. The good news to them though, is that they get their 500's with AMG package as standard!!
so i guess one pays the other huh?

I agree that the 'Avant' wheels are really nice, while the wheels that come with the AMG package are a little plain. Down the road when I start doing modifications to the car, i'm gonna first add the 6-disc CD changer, then get the AMG spoiler, and then after that I'll think about rims.

With this Designo 17" rim, AMG 18" looks so plain.(not the new twin-spoke ones)
I noticed "Pilot sport" is pair with it.
While P-zero rosso is standard on AMG 18" package.
