I have a set of clears on my car. No clue where my friend got them from. But it looks alot better than the yellow orange side markers. Not to mention that the clear lens last alot longer. For some reason the lens on my marker lights and third brake light keep cracking.

Okay here is the deal... my clear corners are prototypes made by depo. So I called my friend over at leaf racing to find me a part number to post. Unfortunately, he told me that there was no demand for Clear Corners for w209 CLK's so they never made them. I think the clear corners make a big difference in the look of the car.
The crazy part is that if he's correct, i may have one of the only sets in north america.

Great. You should tell this guy to start making them. Take a look at the C55 forum. They have a parallel thread on that forum. If you take all the W209's CLK 500 + CLK55 + C55 from just this forum you'd have amassed a pretty good number. then think of supplying the dealerships ad aftermarket guys......
Even if he charged a little more people will buy....If you build it, they will come!!!!

I'm so freakin' jealous man!!! I've looked all over the place for those. All I could find were OEM Body-Colored Lenses (which I ended up purchasing). They look better than the orange but I'd pay almost anything for those clear ones. Anyways, let your friend at Leaf Racing know that if he makes them they'll sell out for sure! There's probably like 25 people on this forum that I know who would like them.

The orange light is some-what seen at night time. But when the lights are off they look so cool! Not as cool are Chi500's. But I think they look good on silver cars.
A little off-topic but I had a question... As you can see in my first picture there is a little paint-cracking directly on top of my Side-Markers, right below the Chrome Strip. Is this happening to yall's cars too? I'm not referring to the Paint Scuff in between the Bumper and the Fender.

Tell them Rafi Jooma from Atlanta sent you; I doubt they'll remember me but I've spent about a G with them in the past few months so hopefully they do remember me.

W209 - W163
we should contact Depo Performance Parts directly... I believe this is thier main subsidiary site, we should contact them with a list of definite buyers to create this prototype, alot of companies will do this ranging from Carbon Fiber hoods to body kits, so how hard could it be to remake clear side signals... I'm not going to do this because i have euro impact strips, but I'll help out my boys!
