It goes up/down with a button on the center console. It's just a piece of black mesh cloth, with a couple black platic rails that raise it. It came with my car, and I'd say it's marginally useful at best. I'll take a pic within the next couple days for you.

That be one hell of an expensive option down under. I'm seeing if I can get it fitted now too. It's just for blocking the sun for people travelling in the rear of your car.

Benz4me, I don't think that it will ever get that hot in Tassie. You may want to consider tinting as a cheaper option.

Hi Froggy I was talking to my sales guy the other day and it's too late to change my order (not that I wont too), We had already decided that the blind was not for us when we ordered the car the back seat wont have a lot of passangers use so wont be needed. I was really just interested to see what it look like.

Mercedes Benz are not cheap in Aussie the Cheapest Clk Starts at AU$90,000 CLK 200K and go up to AU$200,000 (CLK 55) there is very little in the way of option to add to your car that start under AU$500 the most expense is AMG styling Package AU$10600 followed by the distronic at AU$6500 every dollar spent over $50,000 on imported cars we have to pay a luxury tax as well as GST the rest of the world does not know how lucky they are I could have nearly brought two CLK 500's in America for the price I paid for my CLK

Hi, Benz4me, too late to change option means that your car is already in production, good chance of getting the car early
, unless it really takes an awful lot longer to do the leathering.
