My New Updates for my CLK

I just want to say Thanks to Steve (MbenzNL) for installing my steering wheel, 06 taillights and repairing my door. I certainly recommend Steve to anyone on this board,. He does his work professionally and you wouldn't go wrong with him. This is my 3rd time meeting Steve for installations: Euro COMAND, Wood Steering wheel and now the 2006 Taillights. I am very very satisfied with his work and thereby recommend him to anyone who wants to get OEM stuff installed on his car.

Anyways, here are some photos of my new taillights and my completed Black CF interior

Zico - Nice ride! Was your CF interior done by Fiber Design? How do you like the work? Price? Thanks.

Fiber Design only did the ash tray and the rear compartment.

I am really disappointed with them. Not only they took an extremely long time [almost one month whereas he promised me in one week], produced bad result [the weave is not smooth and there are dots on the piece that they did], expensive [US $250 for two products that are not of high quality at all - they tried to quote me US $350 @ first!]. They also keep giving me stupid excuses. I would not recommend anyone to go there to get their CF stuffs. I can take some closeup pics of the pieces that Fiber Design did and show you the numerous nicks on my pieces; they are not visible in the pictures I posted because I took the pictures from quite a far. They maybe good in BMW forums ( ) but definitely not on mercedes stuff.

Edit: If you remember, I posted on the other thread saying that I want to do my CF lip. I was about to do the lip with them but because of this experience, I decide not to ever come back there again.

Sorry to hear about that. Seems like both of us got screwed by the BMW forum peeps (my CF lip was done by one of those sponsors over there). Well, I am assuming that you let those guys post pictures of your car on the BMW forum. If not, you may want to check it out:

Btw, where did you get those puddle lights? Was it from the classifieds? Your whole car looks great, especially those puddle lights.

sorry if I sound like a noob (which I am), but what is the point of the puddle lights, are they just for looks or do they serve a purpose. Btw, your car looks incredible! I love the '06 tail lights and the cf, its awesome! I also like the way you did your emblems with the "CLK" on one side, and the "Brabus" on the other.

Thanks Tommy for the link. I know they did take pictures of my car but I didn't know that they posted them online. For the puddle lights, I bought it from my friend. You can PM me if you want one How's your car now? Any new updates?

Reply to genechien:

SO far, I have no recommendations. I did the rest of my CF stuff in Indonesia and they did a really good work I must say (compared to the ones that I did here). But shipping the panels overseas will cost a lot though. You can talk to Frisco. His CF is done by a sponsor on this forum and his looks really good.

Reply to scarzie:

Thanks! for me, the puddle lights are just to give the car a 'cool' look.

Reply to nytojerz:

Dude, post up some pics when u get it installed

Reply to predator:

My friend gave it to me. I think it is made by Kyosho. Ebay should have a couple of them for sale.
