Road & Track - 2003 CLK Article
Has anyone seen the August issue of R&T magazine. Good coverage on the new CLK, good shot of it to. Did not like the new design at first but I think its beginning to grow on me. However I am not a big fan of the interior. Looks cheap, IMO

Do the specs look right? More...
When they reviewed the CLK55 they had the weight 500 lbs too high and the performance numbers were way off. The 0-60 time matched a Jag model that the writer prattled on about for the entire first column of the article.
This pissed me off so much, and was so glaringly out of sync press from outside the US, that I have not paid money for a copy of R&T since.

Personally I think that the magazine always has the wrong specs or they just play with the numbers, IMO.
When they did the article on the SL500, they wrote theHP to be at 309? while its actually 302

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupe ;)
The August R&T issue also has an article on the C6 Vette, which is the next generation to debut in 2005.
The styling reminds me of the AVANTI built by Studebaker and designed by Raymond Loewy, Industrial Design studios in 1963.
That Avanti had a lot of innovative features including overhead controls, - built into the roof. - which everyone takes for granted, today.
