About to buy a 2006 CLK 350 Cab...
I did a forum search on this topic but couldn't find a thread specifically about 2006's---so I apologize in advance if this has been asked too much.
My lease on my 2002 C-240 is about to come up and I want to BUY a CLK 350 Cab. I realize this is one of MB's most desirable models, but so far my local dealer will not budge one bit on the MSRP. Of course part of my problem is I want only a CLK Cab with all the options I want---which means it'll need to be ordered.
Is it unrealistic to expect to get anything under MSRP for this car? I think I already know the answer--
but wanted to ask anyway...

well on my CLK 350 Coupe, the MSRP was listed at 53,030. I got the price down to 51,500 -- with Rubber Mats as a gift.

Carsdirect says $600 off MSRP. This is in Los Angeles where there is a ridiculously competitive market. So yeah, I doubt they're going to budge off MSRP at the dealerships. If you can hold off until early next year you'll get a much better deal.
