My CLK500 has been built...
My dealer informs me that the CLK500 I ordered in June of 2001 had been built. Price and ship date are still unknown, but I do have and order number.
Does any one know of a buyer for my original owner mint 280CE?

'02 CLK 430, '02 ML 55, several Harleys
I've been told mine is on the dock waiting to be delivered to dealer on or before Aug 1st. with Aug 1 being release. Been told can pick up Sat Aug 3rd. Can't wait, can't sleep

I also was heavily considering Capri blue - until I saw it in person. Not that its a bad color.. its definitely got its appeal, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted to get a nice darkish blue metallic color, and while Capri blue is just that, its got a heavy tint of purple in it from some angles. I wasn't wild about it to say the least, and changed to silver.

I think capri blue looks great...I opted for silver because I have two blue cars already (Porsches: one midnight blue and one ocean blue) and thought a third dark blue would be too much....

The chome studded CLK stand out much better on Capri blue than a Black or Silver. The only problem is the interior trim on a 500 Capri blue. I wish they had lighter colors, but again the aluminium trim would not look all that great with light colors. So Capri BLue 320 with Stone Interior was my choice.
