What happens when a CLK 500 slams into the back of a Chevy Tahoe? Well, let me just tell you it isn't pretty, especially when the air bags dont deploy. I think that is because the Tahoe is so high up it didnt hit the sensors. The car is engineered quite well for accidents though all the damage was to the front third of the car.

I'll find out today if they are going to fix it or total it. My guess is they will fix it and I'll be driving a rental for a month or so.

yeh, sorry to hear about that - there would have been no 'ALMOST' in the crying for me...i would have been bawling.

 

Its just God/Allah/Yahweh/Buddha/Gandhi telling you to join the NRA.

 

I just found out that they will fix it and its not apparently as bad as it looks. If anyone is interested I will post what they have to replace body wise and engine wise for future reference. I should find that out in a few days.
