I have a 2005 CLK 500 Coupe with DVD Command Navigation with CD Changer.

Does anyone know if there is any way to play MP3s using either the command cd slot or the cd changer?

i think there is a MP3 cd changer that can replace the one you have.

 

My euro Comand(Becker) can play mp3, but I am not sure if US Comand(Alpine) can do it.
2006 cars are equipped with mp3 cd changer. I know Steve installs mp3 cd changers if you are interested.
My euro command does not do anything if MP3s are placed inside the folders. I read a few threads and found out that E-series Comand has a Folder soft key. Mine doesn't,(neither a Folder or MP3 soft key) and it does not recognize the cd as mp3 cd.
I was going to burn mp3 dvd, but navigating 1000 flat MP3s will kill me.
Do I need an update?
Any answer/help would be greatly appreciated.

 

you can upgrade to teh 2006 MP3 Changer and that will do the job as I have done it in my car.

i have Clk 500 2003 w209
my car have 6 cd changer can i replace that with smt else?

i also want to unlock the speed limit for this car?? just for the use of gumball support car.... any recomemdation??

 

There is no factory mp3 changer for earlier CLK's or C's. Only 2005 and later.

 

I know that MP3's on a CD will work in the W209 Euro Command but how about MP3 DVD's? I tried a DVD with folders but it did not work in either the deck nor the changer. If I do not use folders on the DVD will it work?
