Help! Faulty parktronic system

Has anyone experienced this problem: the sensor goes off on its own, the display shows the entire bar on one side of the car as if I was right up against the wall when in fact, I'm clear away from anything in front of me. Sometimes only the red bars show, beeping the entire time.
Any help please? Thanks.

If you live in Australia then it may be caused by the Euro numpber plate. Otherwise it may be a faulty sensor in that corner of the car.

Mine goes off as I back out of the garage and turn around. It picks up the ground as the car tilts slightly as it comes up the road camber.
They are obviously set with the car dead level.

the eaisest way is to go to a dealer and have them scan it.

Can they determine the exact faulty sensor or do you think it's trial and error?
