Sliding Armrest
I have new 06 CLK350 coupe and it has weird looking center armrest. I mean most clk has lockable lift armrest but mine has slide open armrest and there is cup holder inside of compartment. Why my clk looks different than others? I don't like it!

I have the same Slider that I can't find anywhere
I have been looking to replace the top of the center console arm rest but can only find covers that open where mine too slides. Not sure why it's different than the norm but any info would be appreciated

Yes, there was a design change to the center console. MY2006 and later has the roller-blind style center console with cupholders there instead of in the dash. Personally, I like the room of the older style, but the looks of the newer style. I have just gotten used to it and thus carry less "junk" in my car.
