22x9.5 Fits! Lowered 2005 Clk320

HI EVERYONE...
WAS GETTING BORED AT LOOKING AT MY 20" TSW WHEELS (20x8.5 245/30r20 and 20x10 285/25R20)

SO I DECIDED TO GO BIG...

HOW BIG?

20x8.5 in the front (245/30R20 Pirelli Pnero)
22X9.5 in the Rear! (265/30R22 Pirelli Pnero)

The car is lowered 2" in the rear (Does Not Rub)
Note: Front will be lowered this evening.
-No performance is missing.
-No Braking/Stopping issues.

Jeez Imelda, what's this fetish with huge wheels. This is a CLK, not some 4x4. When I saw you slap 20" on your car, I thought they were too much. Little did I know, eh

But these wheels are hot for sure, and the drop is not bad either. Whether I like it or not, your car has the the full pimp treatment. Bet it steals some glances at the street.

Enjoy the wheels. By the way, how is the ride quality in 22", compared to say 18" wheels

Cheers,

Zee

How come you didn't go with 24"s? They would look a lot better.

Remember...
Ride is based By The Vehicle Not by The Tires Profile.
Ride was never sacrificed.
Also...
My Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires are EXTRA LOAD TIRES (PROMOTES SAFETY)
Something thats not found on 18" Tires. When i Had 18" I bent a Wheel in 1 week (HRE Cant Handle Downtown L.A Without EXTRA LOAD TIRES)
was Promised that 20" would hold up better. with "EXTRA LOAD" and they did.
NOT ONE TSW RIM EVER WENT OUT OF ROUND...
AND WE ALL KNOW HRE IS BETTER... RIGHT? OR IS IT?
MY G35 ON 20X9 20X10 AXIS MODS STILL STRAIGHT (EXTRA LOADS ALSO)
MY HUSBANDS 26" GFG'S ON EXTRA LOADS NO PROBLEM!
THE MINI COOPER ON 20" TSW NO PROBLEM!

How Come You Did Not Go 24"?

I was going to paint my car "ORANGE"...
but then that would look "UGLY"

I was going to put "Vinyl Graphics" AKA "stickers"
but that would Look "GAY"

Long Story Short...

The Future is Here!

BTW
24" Tires will be available in 6 Months for the Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300 and the New "Dodge Challenger"

"24" its not just for trucks anymore"

Its one original look, i could never attempt it because some of the roads in louisiana. Theres nothing wrong with pushing the envelope, but hey i think 19s will be right where i'm comfortable with. I dont think turning heads will be a problem for you, I have one of a couple of clks in my area and i dont think many notice... its all about massive trucks, muscle cars, and ultra light imports. In general there are a few benzs and bmws i guess they just dont attract a crowd.(there are quite a few bmws mainly 525i and 3 series)(benz=c, cls, e, and s)

are the new wheels TSW as well or no? I really like the rims, great job, id seriously consider em in a smaller size.

if anyone knows the model, if they are TSW, i would really appreciate it.

Yeh, dont mind it, 22's are all the rage now but they do suit some cars only? would like to see some photo's from distance. The problem with the CLK's the line of the body work makes the car look like it has its bumb up in the air all the time.
