Damaged wheel

Can anyone give me some leads on either a repair or replacement rim? The wheel is the rear on a 2005 CLK 500 with AMG package. I beleive it is 17X8.5 and it is completely painted. The damage is curb rash on the outside lip of the rim. If the suggestion and info is for a repair the company doing the repair would have to smooth the damage and scuff the entire wheel, repaint and reclear. I have seen some repairs where thery just sand, paint, and reclear the damaged spot and the job looks like crap. I got a new set of rims for my SL 55 due to a repair not up to my standards. I live near the Bay Area Ca.
Thanks

Thanks for the replies. After looking at the damage closer, in the light, there is a chunk missing from the rim lip. If it were repaired you would see a dip in the rim. Looks like I'll have to fork the big $$ for a new one, dam.
