Few questions for you Gurus about the CLK-500

I have had my CLK-500 fora while now... (had a c32 amg) Looking to add some more power to the car.. I can't find any sites that sell anything?

I do have a budget so what would be the best to add? Intake - is there one? Chip? Does exhaust do anything or is it just for sound?

Also, what wheels are these (all i know is that they are 19s - thats all i know)

none
those look like the knock off Mercedes wheels.

If I were you, I'd get new tires. These Nittos suck in a long run

Brabus something....

Best bet? Email sales@d2autosport.com or info@euroteckmotorsports.com

I know that they should be able to help you with your wheel needs, exhaust and whatever you're looking for.

Speedtuning USA has a chip which supposedly gives you 30 more hp. Exhausts are also supposed to add a little bit of power. I haven't seen any intake upgrades, however, if you switch out the stock filters with Green filters you should get a bit more power and response.

Haven't done any mods to my car as yet but when I do I'll go with Kleemann as they seem to offer some of the best quality mods. You may want to look into a ECU upgrade which will give you about 10hp and another 10 or so ft lbs torque for about $1000. Also headers (about $3000 + install) which people say can give you significant HP and torque gains as the car will breathe better. If your looking something along the lines of ultimate hp gains I'd suggest you go for the K S5 package which includes ECU & kompressor which will give you 526hp and 503 ft lbs tq. This you can expect to pay about 15-16k installed.

Rgds,

The only mods i have done so far for performance was switch my stock airbox for an amg airbox and adding green filters. It runs a lot better and you can hear the air coming through pretty well and the revs sound nice. I think it make give better gas mileage but i havent gone on any long trips recently. I'm debating on rims or exhaust. I guess its which i get a better deal on. My car gets a nice rev, but i'm looking for a deeper V8 exhaust sound( maybe eisenmann). P.S. I bought the amg airbox for x-tian, a pretty cool guy he end up getting a RR HSE.( never got to thank him personally, his mail box was full)
