Memory Seats Problem PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I have the memory seats package and as from today it is not working properly. Usually when I enter in the car and put the key to the ignition the seat moves forward to my driving position. When I exit the seat moves backward in order to allow me to exit (either when I take out the key or when I open the door). This function has stopped. Anyone familiar with this problem?? A small detail that may helped is that I took the car for polish and when I entered the car the seat was way back and I had to push the memory button (number 1) in order to get it to my required position. When I arrived at home the above problem occured. Does it need seat reprogramming.

Thanx for your help.

Crack open the owner's manual and reprogram from scratch... you've got nothing to lose.

It isn't a "seat program" issue...lol

Turn this setting "ON" using steering wheel controls (pages & +/- buttons)

Settings
Instrument Cluster
Convenience
Activate easy-entry/exit feature "ON"

-Good Luck (page 164 of 06 manual)

I tried what you said S2000 but nothing is happening. The easy entry/exit feature was already set to Steering column and seat (Steer.col.+seat) which means that both the steering column as well as the seat will move when you remove either the key from the ignition lock or open the driver's door and the key is in position 0 or 1 in the ignition lock. I tried to put this feature to off and then to Steer.col.+seat again but nothing happen. When I removed the key both the seat and the steering column stayed where they were. Is there any other solution cause I'm starting to worry that this is after all a serious problem.

Thanx in advance for any answers.

This is a regular occurence when the car is sent either for a service, or a polish. Just switch on the ignition, move the seat to its almost most forward postion, then switch off the ignition, the seat should then operate within the parameters you have set.

How about the steering wheel? Is there anyway to reset it?

When I remove the key, the steering wheel would go up but just a bit. I remember it used to move up a lot more.
