How do you remove the gas pedal bolt?

Hello. I just got a pair of the OEM Mercedes Aluminum Pedals for my CLK 500. I was able to switch out the footbrake and the brake, but can't remove the gas bolt. Is there any special way to do this? I've tried using the search function, but it really isn't helping. Are there any pictures on how to do this? Thanks

It has 2 10mm bolts at the bottom of the pedal and another up top. You should then be able to take it off.
