Has anyone taken back to test drives with the CLK350 and CLK500? I am curious how they compare with regard to ride quality?

Also, how much of a difference does the Sport Package make?

With BMW, the Sport Package makes a significant differnce with improved handling....however the ride quality is reduced quite a bit.

Thanks,
Mike

My experience with both is only with the Cabs. Both are the same and are cruisers, comfortable even on rough NE roads. However. they have performance tires that really stick during fast street driving.

Not counting the AMG G-Class, I don't think MB has made a car that was "too stiff" for the average driver since the origional CE of the mid '90's.

I've driven both cabs, also on NE roads, and didn't find any substantial difference at all in terms of ride quality. Frankly, given the type of normal cruising, I didn't see a huge benefit between the CLK 350 & the 500. On a highway - well, that's different. The CLK320, however, had a bigger gap

I've not driven the AMG either.

Best of Luck!
