CLK550 with Eibach Pro Kit and Bilstein B8
When I did my research on sports suspensions for my 2007 CLK550 A209, I had a hard time coming by before-after pics. Therefore I'm posting mine. The after pic (bottom) was taken 5 days after the install. It might set more, but I haven't seen any setting since day 1 so maybe not.
I got the Eibach Pro Kit and Bilstein B8 shocks/struts. I had the rear spring pads replaced for #4's, to even out the wheel-fender gaps all around. I got a front drop of 2.2 cm and a rear drop of 1.8 cm. That's perfect for me. Driving dynamics have hugely improved, without being too harsh. Highly recommend this upgrade!

you know you were the one actually that got me into the multispoke wheels.... I was going with 19'' versions of the E63 w211, but your car made me decide otherwise... a decision i don't regret!

...not finished but first pics of the front incl. LED DRL.
I have to fix the bumper to the fenders and make the wiring for the LEDs.
The side skirts are painted too and ready to install ( if they fit i hope)
The rear bumpers fittment is terrible, so i have to modifiy before paintjob and install......

Looking nice, you should see if you can bring the LEDs a bit forward so that they don't light up the inner part of the bumper.... thats what all OEM units are like too.... Good to see something different!!

my screen is too dark to get a good picture of the front, is that a clk63 bumper or a facelift 55?? if its a 63 (like mine, see a pic on this page) im interested to know what cf lip you have...

AMGY- OEM SLK AMG 18's, I alternate between those and S55 AMG 19's (same as pictured below)
NardoNZ- yes, 63 front bumper, I ordered a CF lip which would fit a regular AMG bumper and had it modded to fit, as they come its very close, maybe a half inch of space where the bumper recedes.
