I was reading some porsche stuff and saw 2003 boxter. Suddenly, the temptation to buy boxter came on my mind.
nah .. I think my dad will not let me buy something over 50k. I'll prolly have to choose boxter or CLK320.
any comments ?

The appeal for CLK buyers tend to care more about "elegence" & "comfortable" which is not the Boxer shooting at.

If you plan to mod the CLK, or get the apearance package, I would go with the CLK. If you are going to keep it stock I would lean to the Boxter as the base 320 doesn't have as much character, IMHO. Either would be a good choice, just depends on what you value. My 2 cents.

Depends
I owned a Boxster S for 2 years and traded it in for a CLK320.
The reason - purely because I have an addition to the family on the way and I need those rear seats.
If I was still single and had no dependents I wouldn't even consider the CLK over the Boxster but it all depends what you do with the car. The Boxster can be frustrating as it handles so well it encourages you to use all the performance the car has. The CLK is much better suited to cruising and keeping your licence...

Not a good/fair comparison, Boxter vs. SLK AMG would be more like it, of which I'd choose the SLK. If/when I buy a Porsche, it will be a 911.
On the other hand, if it is absolutely going to be a CLK or Boxter, go for the Porsche! There is usually a very short period of time (due to family obligations, financial considerations, etc.) in your life when you can truely enjoy an automobile like a Porsche, if this is your opportunity, don't let it pass you bye.
