The total was right under 2000, like 1950 or something.

This is including the nitrous kit itself, installation, dyno runs, taxes, shipping...everything. And I made them install it so that its hidden and you can't see it in the engine, if it wasn't for that it would be cheaper.

The car runs nice, when I hit the nitrous at about 3500rpms I can feel the nitrous kick in and the car starts to really pick up speed. I didn't do any timed runs or anything but I just took it out for a test ride and I hit 80 extremely quick. Its really a lot of fun and very addictive. Here are some pics of the nitrous. I just got pics of it in the trunk because it is very well hidden in the engine, I'll obviously take more pics later. Keep in mind that I am going to put some kind of carpeting over the wood.

Here is a pic of the dyno. The gains look good but the hp and tq numbers look very low. They didn't run it using dyno mode, just ESP off, maybe that's why? Maybe it was just a dyno that uses lower numbers than normal. What do you guys think?

Hey, i will post tomorrow my Dyno results. No modifications whatsoever were done on my engine. We shall compare...

-Do you know where they tapped into your fuel line for the fuel solenoid?

-Did the dyno include an air/fuel ratio graph and if so can you post that part of it too?

I've done some more runs with the NOS and it seems like it keeps getting better and better. I put 3 friends in the car (Weighing around 200lbs each) and I hit 120 without breaking a sweat, everybody could feel the nitrous hit and they were amazed how quickly my car gained speed. N2O is extremely fun, lol. It sounds really good too when doing runs.

I'm really happy with the 75 shot, but I'm going to install a purge, bottle warmer, and some other upgrades in probably a month or so, so I'm thinking about maybe jumping to 100 shot, we'll see...

No idea where the fuel line was tapped, I think I saw a solenoid at the top left part of the engine bay (around the battery). All my lines are totally hidden so I really don't know what they did, I just know it works very good and I've had no problems.

I don't have the A/F graphs, but the tuner reviewed it and said everything was running perfect with no issues whatsoever.

Yeah, it was very hard to find a place, but fortunately, the shop happens to be right on my route to work so I lucked out. If you're gonna do it, send me a PM. A 100 shot would be real nice, anything under 75 I would say is probably not worth it.

That is unless you plan on taking everything out prior to a service. But that could be a major PIA.

And engine pics will be coming soon. Although theres not that much to see, I can get a close up of some of the lines. I also gotta get some updated pics of my car with all the chrome and the new rims.

Anybody know where I can get the kind of carpeting that is in the trunk for a cheap price? I want to cover the wooden piece that my NOS bottle is mounted to. I was thinking either a carpet or some kind of paint.

Not sure if I mentioned this, but the NOS is totally removable. Since its attached to that piece of wood, I just unplug the bottle and take the whole thing right out, I love it.

I'm going back to the shop today for a refill, I have to be ready at all times. Anybody know any more cool and functional accessories for nitrous? I'm the only person I know with the juice.

That is exactly what I plan on doing, Lol. The setup in the trunk is easy to remove and I just gotta hide the line. For the engine, everything is pretty well hidden, however there are still some spots where you can see it. I would have that stuff removed and the lines taken out. The guy at the shop said he can hide the lines good enough that nobody would know except for the part where the nitrous actually get injected into. For that, I would need a replacement part so that I can switch it when I go for service. My B service is probably going to be coming up in a little while, anybody know what this service consists of (will they be looking at the engine or is it just oil change and BS)? Thanks

My bottle is almost empty so its getting refilled right now. I probably used the nitrous for about 45-75 seconds yesterday, meaning you get about a minute of use with one bottle with a 75 shot.

Damn, I didnt know it gets used up so quick! Maybe it would be a good investment to have a couple bottles at home. Calling one more shop today to see if they can do it.

It might be more like a minute and a half, but yeah, I used it up pretty quick. And I was thinking the same thing. When I go back to the shop later today, I'll ask the guy how much an extra bottle is. If I had the trunk space, I'd have 2 bottles installed.

The guy charges $45 per refill.

Keep in mind it wasn't run in dyno mode, so I am getting very low hp numbers. But you can see the gains I got from the NOS. If the crank numbers on a stock CLK500 are 302hp, my car should be around 330hp considering the ECU (which I have set for higher octane), 99 Octane, exhaust, and green air filters. I also have bigger wheels so I heard that can translate to a loss of rwhp. I will have my car put on the dyno again when I upgrade to a 100 shot, this time I'll make sure they run it in dyno mode. I should have at least 400 crank hp with the 75 shot though.

And about the $45 a bottle, these guys use medical grade nitrous oxide (laughing gas), supposedly it is the best you can get and only 2 guys in NY are licensed to have it. Plus, I'm in NY and everything over here is expensive.

After a week on the bottle, I can say that the main thing with the NOS is the torque increase. As soon as you hit it you get pulled back in your seat. The only thing I'm not sure about is top end power. Maybe its because you get used to the extra G's when you initially hit the button and the pull feels normal. I just wish there was a little bit more top end. I also heard a bottle warmer will increase the performance of the NOS, so we'll see how it goes.

BTW, I raced a E55 with evosport stage 1 from a roll at 25mph and I still got owned Lol. Maybe I should have hit the juice faster...or maybe I should change cars.

And this is unrelated and but its my thread so why not. I am going to the MB dealer today to negotiate a deal for a new S550 for my mom. They have a brand new white one with no miles with $0 down, 3 year lease, 15000 miles, for $1350 a month. What do you guys think? I am hoping we can get it down to maybe $1325. I think its a good deal considering 2 months ago they wouldn't let one go for under $1500.

I think we got a pretty good deal, $1299 a month. Bought it at MB of Larchmont. Thanks for offering help though Cadet. You think you could have done a little better? We actually got the car for under invoice (or so the dealer says).

your price really depends on options, but i do have some friends in the business

if you are already taking delivery, dont worry about if you could have gotten it cheaper otherwise you wouldnt have bought it if you thought it was overpriced.. enjoy the car to the fullest, it is really an excellent car!
