CLK Assembly Plant

Is the CLK assembled in a genuine MB factory or is it sourced to a different company to build ? I heard that it is assembled by Magna-Steyr at one of its plants in Germany ? Does it says this on anyone's car ?

Come on now. I see that 84 people viewed this post and no one can answer. If anybody REALLY owns a CLK perhaps they could like at the door post and tell me where there car was made.

I'm sure people are running out to their cars to answer your question.

I did not expect anybody to run out to their car. Your response is ignorant. But assuming the people in this forum drive their cars at least once a day one would think it would not be too much trouble to check. I thought this forum was for people to exchange information and comments. Not a very co-operative bunch of people in my opinion so I checked at my dealer for the answer.

My response had a tinge of irony in it. Obviously there's only a small number of people that have the new CLK, and of that small number that have it an even smaller number that read your post (obviously people without the new CLK also read/post on this forum) and of those few people who had CLKs and read your post, nobody responded.
