help!! after market xenon

hey guys unfortunately my car didn’t come with xenon lights and I wanna do them i see that steve is selling them for 1250 but i went to a local accessory place near me and he showed me the 8000k hid lights and said that there pretty much the same.....wat should i do? The 8000k is much cheaper is there really a difference light wise? i want my car to look stock i don’t want like a cheep Japanese look if that makes sense lol does anyone have these 8000k installed? Any input would be great thanks-Andrew

Ok I think I can helps this 8000k is the color temp. I assume this would just be a xenon kit for about $200-300. Steve sells the whole xenon light assembly for 1250. correct me if i am wrong but The xenon light assembly have special projector lens to help focus and aim the extra light of the xenons, the other doesnt. Without the projector lenses you will have excessive glare blinding other drivers and not gain much from the xenon kit. As far as color the stock kit would have a color od 4200k this is brightest when you go up you lose light. At 8000k you lose a lot of light for that blue look. If I was you i would buy the set from steve hands down if you goal is see better. But if you want to be cheap and all your after is looks the 8000k kit is for that. You can get xenon kits online for real cheap. I have a 8000k in my foglights for looks and a little extra light from http://www.cqlight.ca/ they have lasted almost a year now without any problems. hope this helps

Hey for the cqlight it is very straight forward no cutting or splicing basically plug and play check this tread for the only none straight forward part https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class-w209/162812-hid-foglights.html But for two hundred bucks shipped its a really good deal you could order the h7 kit and if it creates to much glare you could sell the bulbs on ebay and order another set of 9006 bulbs there only a 100 for a new set and put them in the fogs. They may possibly let you trade for the 9006. But you can do a quality install in about a hour. http://cqlight.ca/index.php?cPath=23...12d944230cfc6d But again I highly recommend
