CLK2003 is going to be the first car that i am going to buy

And i dont know much about what u guys talk about

These are the specefication of my CLK... i am ordering my car from Europe

Color: Brilliant Silver OR Iolith Blue (( I dont know which color would look better on the CLK))

What else should i add?

will the Parktronic Distronic change the front look of my CLK??

I hate the rims on the 320, can i order the 500 rims and put them on my 320??
I have a lot of Q.. but this is enough for now.. I hope U can help!

Possibly consider COMMAND
Both you exterior colour options are good in my opinion.
Interior colour reports have been more favourable towards the darker colours. I'm sure you will get many more comments.

I do believe either Parktronic or Distronic slightly changes the appearance of the front. One of these option adds subtle circular marks on the front bumper. IMO, this does not hurt the car's appearance.

I would consider COMMAND as well. It's obviously a luxury (like buying an MB), but I find it convenient.

Keep the interior towards the darker colors. Darker colors look less cheap IMO.

If you don't like the rims or tires, try the "Appearance Package" . This upgrades you to sportier 17" rims and tires - the rims are nicer/sportier, but not the same as the stock CLK500 rims. For the inside, instead of polished wood, you get patterned aluminum and a bit of chrome trim around the "shifter".

All this is for the US model - so may be different than your geography.

I think the Avantgarde styling is much more sportier. I went for a clk240 avantgarde.
I added the Bose sound system
Sports suspension (lowers slightly the profile of the car) and the 17" wheels avantgarde style (default is 16" upto clk500 I think).

I also upgraded the aircon to ThermoTronic Climate Control

About the Iolith blue.. i am still not sure about the color.., Coz i saw an amazing color on the CLK and looked like dark silver but when i asked for the color the dealer said it was iolith Blue.. so i am confused..?? Did anybody see an iolith blue color on the CLK?? coz it was amazing!

about the Command thing.. i am not really sure what it does or what is it... plz more details what is a command exactly

Can't help with the colors, but re: the COMAND system.


COMAND system - ****pit MANagement and Data system

It integrates your stereo/cd, GPS (satellite navigation), and phone into a single/screen unit in the center dashboard region.

Take a look at the interior pics of the CLK: if you see a screen in the dash, you are looking at the COMMAND system.

The dark "silver" color might have been pewter. The color changes depending upon the light.

Hard to tell with the light but it looks like Pewter though it could just be silver.

The best advise I can give you is if you're buying a 320 for economic reasons, buy a base 500 vs a loaded 320, you'll thank me for it!

The AMG bodystyling package includes the following:
- Front Apron
- Side Skirts
- Rear Apron

I don't believe it includes the AMG Wheels. In the US, the CLK 500 has this as standard. You should be able to checkout pics of this within this forum.

Personally I think the AMG options are very expensive for what they provide and don't compare well to say adding a M pack to a BMW, which includes the bodystyling package, wheels, different seats and one or two other extras.
