CLK 350 and 500 gas mileage

I'm looking into buying a CLK 350, or CLK 500, convertible and was curious about what the real world gas mileage was for these two models in city and highway. Thanks.

Lol. If you're driving in the city in stop and go, the CLK350 gets as bad as 11MPG. But if you're driving at a constant speed, it actually gets excellent mileage. Cruising on the freeway I get anywhere from 24mpg to 28mpg.

In the city I get about 11-12 mpg. Highway 21 mpg at most.

Thanks for response.

Thanks all.

I live in Newport News, VA (north of Norfolk and south of Williamsburg), so maybe my city mileage would not be a bad as yours since there isn't a lot of traffic. The highway mileage is good.

Maybe I'll keep looking. Not many choices for good 4-seat convertible.

E46 M3 conv. 3.2l I6 returns over 25mpg on a run. I don't like conv's but it's one of the best and a true 4-seater, if a little tight as always

Sorry, I didn't see that you were looking at a CLK500 convertible. I have the coupe. I'm not sure if that'll make a big difference or not, but just wanted to let you know.

2022 E350 Cabriolet
We now have just on 10000Km on our 05 CLK500 convertible and it has returned an excellent 10.1 ltrs per 100km. Very very good for a 5 ltr V8.
