Parrot CK3000

I have a 2006 CLK500 has anyone installed the parrot for hands free. if so please contact me.
I want to know if they had to hard wire or use a quick connect I do not want my wires cut.
this is supposed to work thru your steering wheel and radio in the same way the one the dealer wants 2500 to install
thanks
Steve

Have you seen this: www.parrotkits.com/steeringwheel.html ?

If you have the MOST system, the Parrot acutally installs by the Harmon Kardon amp....

i have a parrot system in my clk 550, porsche 996 turbo, and e500 wagon. they are perfect and can be moved from one car to another.

$2500 is a rip off. my local parrot dealer charged me $625--installed!

I went with the dealer install bluetooth. it is expensive but awesome.
it works thru the tel aid speakers and I can use the steering wheel controls. it also utilizes the radio.. and it downloads my telephone bood from my phone. I love it

parrot bluetooth mutes the radio and allows you to answer hands free on a speaker phone, similiar to the factory bluetooth that just became available at 4 times the price. the only difference is no steering wheel controls and the and the ability to transfer the parrot to another car for $200 installation.

here's the link to their website for the model i use:

http://www.parrot.biz/usa/products/ck3100-lcd

looks nice against the windshield right next to the rear view mirror.

I'm getting the 3000 installed next week for $125 labor and $150 for the unit. I wanted the 3100 or 3200 but there is not enough space in my 911 for a visible screen. I was tempted to get the steering wheel kit for my wife's CLK550 but our salesman gave us the bluetooth module for free and the MHI unit at cost ($488).
