C63 AMG (stock right now), Beach Cruiser (debadged), Piper Cherokee 280 (too much to mention)
go with exhaust and chip
I wouldnt bother with CAI on it... the intake is good from stock (as you can tell from looking at it)
Perhaps try changing out the exhaust system or software.
Evosport are great with advice, and they look after mbworld members (thanks Mike)
good luck!

You can have your ECU chipped by most of the companies out there. It requires you to remove the ECU out of the car and sending it to one of the retailers. They will flash the ECU with updated configuration by increasing the output that was previously prevented by the factory tolerances. They will in turn after two days or so, ship it back to you.
The price ranges from I believe $600 upwards to $1500 (guestimated) depending on the company. I believe the evo sport chip is on the lower end of the price spectrum but everybody seem to say it's the best bang because it's the best gain per dollar spent. I think the Kleemann offers the highest output for the chip but you will be paying premium pricing for it.
From what I've seen on the board, Evo Sport and Renntech are the popular ones. I believe you can find pricing information on their websites.
Hope this helps.

speedtuningUSA, $300 for ECU upgrade. Same gains as all the other companies. But don't expect to get a huge hp boost like you get on a turbo car. Still, for $300 I think the slight hp increase is worth it.
