Unhappy need help reseting the fss
i have resently changed the oil in my clk500 03 model. how do i reset the service reminder???

disconnect (-) battery..wait 5sec and reconnect

03 CLK500, 04 X3, No 07 GT3RS :(
IIRC, you just change the console display to show the service interval timer and push in and hold the odometer reset button for 3 secs and it'll reset

what is the service interval timer?

It's the message you recieve on the steering console that says 2000 miles to service is due or service due now.

i tried it and it didn't work

can you give me step by step instruction
does the key have to be in some specific position?

when i did it, it when to the service reminder and then held it down and it beeps but it still still service B 400 miles over
