w209 Keyless go

Does anyone here have it for the 500Clk? On the MBUSA website it shows it either as a credit card or remote type thing. Which is it?

Thanks!
Will

prior editions of the keyless go, included a credit card type thing that you kept in your pocket.

with the 2003 clk keyless go, all you have to carry is the key itself. the car recognizes the key. its one of the best parts about the car.

Why would you want the key version vs the credit card one? I would think that the cc version would be much more practical and take up less pocket space!

Which do you like best having used both?

hmm?? its a KEY!? wow..i never knew that. i might have gotten it if it was only a key.

i personally don't like the credit card. its about 3-4credit cards thick, and feels as though you will break it easily. my mom has it on her car, and i don't feel it is that great. i like turning the key when starting my car...just my opinion tho..

2003 CLK 500 SHIT BOX
I have Keyless Go on my 500 i like it but.... When I use the keyless go, I have to tilt the steering wheel manually. The memory does not store it. Is there a way to change this?

Thanks

the key is the best. its the regular sized key for the clk models w208.

as far as the key being recognized for the memory features, i m not sure. i shut that feature off. didnt like the tilting of the wheel when im getting in or out of the car.

The easy entry feature is standard since W203
backoff column or seats and can be on/off either way, while keyless go is not optional for W203.

The Keyless go function of W209 enables outside door(trunk) opening or start/stop the engine which key is (remote)used during old times. The thoughtful idea not to "touch" the key before accessing your car.

My dealer informed me that Mercedes killed the Credit Card idea based on customer complaints.

It was to easy to break it.
