Question Yet Another "Will these wheels fit" question...

I'm thinking about these Monoblock VI replica wheels from ebay, and think they'd look pretty nice on my black CLK. Will they fit properly w/o a spacer? Is the offset correct?

Specs:
STRUCTURE: 1 Piece Cast Alloy
SIZE: 19x8.5" front 19x9.5" rear
BOLT PATTERN: 5x112
OFF-SET: 35mm
FINISH: Chrome (Silver or Black is $200 less)
TIRES: Toyo Proxes 4 225-35-19 front & 265-30-19 rear

I'm not sure what the proper offset is on the clk...can someone tell me what the offset is for stock width for front and back?

Thanks,
Joe Z

No, youll need spacers. 10mm in the front and 15mm in the rear should do it. Be sure to measure the bolts to see if you need longer ones to accomodate the new spacers.

Does anyone have these wheel or opinions? Also, what is the proper offset? I saw spacers would be needed for the above wheels, but WHAT IS IT SUPPOSE TO BE?!?

Not a big fan of the Mandrus Millenium. I believe you can find better rims offered in the classified section, if not on eBay.

The proper offset is +32 for the front and rear for wheels that are similar sized to stock vehicles.

This will vary with the width of the rims as well. For example if you're looking a wider rims ie 18x10 in the rear, I think the proper offset becomes smaller and it also depends on the tire you will be using.

Thanks for the fast reply. The wheels kinda remind me of the CLK Black Series a bit.

And the proper offset for 8.5 and 9.5 wheels are 32mm and 35mm respectively, according to the seller. He said $1890 shipped with wheels for 19"

I would pass on those at that price... I guess it would depend on the rubber the seller is throwing in. If you want rims that look like the ones off the black series I would recommend you taking a look at either OZ Superleggras or OZ Ultraleggras. That's what you should be looking at and OZ rims are strong and light. I've seen them on eBay anywhere from $1000 to $1500 used. In the end you really get what you paid for.
