White, Black, or Silver
White, Black, or Silver
Hi,
After the selling the s2000 I have been looking for another car. At first it was the G35 in Ivory Pearl. I looked, and found "the one" after 6 months and let it go. I am looking for something better now, the CLK 500 W209, years 2003+. At first I just wanted white (White just looks damn good in my eyes), but now I am wondering if I should possibly get another color. If i get silver, it would be with silver wheels , not bad but a bit average. If I get black, the wheels would be silver as well or black, but black paint might drive me nuts with swirls. If its white, it would be with silver rims, not a bad combo either plus I don't see many white CLKs that are modified. Let me know what you think!!!

Thanks,
Tony

I really DO NOT think black degrades a benz. I have a silver CLk 350, but I think most people who go for a benz would choose black over the other colors. It needs constant cleaning but once its waxed, you're good. Its classic and looks great on any class.

Well, personally I like it in silver, I myself, have a CLK320 in pewter metallic, and when the sun hits it, or when driving at night and the street lights hit it, it shows perfectly. So the best color, IMO, is the silver.
I have a Silver, and i have to admit, the thing that i hate of a silver benz, is that probably the 80% of the benzs are silver...
But I have to admit, when i park my clean silver CLK in front of a bar with neons shining on it, the car looks always brand new and actual, even if it is 4 years old... And people cant stop looking at it

IN BLACK! you will never regret it! all my cars here are black lol
IMO, silver will get you sick easily.
and besides, if you want to mod your car, black is the easiest color to find mods for, painted

Black on Black is the way to go!
My 7 series was black on black, my CLK right now is black on black, we just got a 03 W220 which is also black on black
Most of our cars have been black on black except our 97 e class, it was black on grey.

Dad's: Black 997 Turbo, Black Bentley GTC, Black 750Li, Black SL55, Black S500.
Mine: Black Ford Explorer, Black CLK500, (and this week I think I'm going to order a black '08 M3).
Mom's: White Escalade, White S430, White S550.
If you've got testosterone pumping through your veins the only way to go is black.
CLK has a nice body style and it will look good in any color.
I personally prefer silver and black. I did not buy a black one because my previous car was black and I found it to be high maintenance.
If you have the time to wash/clean/polish/wax the car often, black is the color for you !
