Extended car warranty
Hello guyz
please help me out ... i have 2003 clk 60000 miles on it..
so it is out of warranty.
but i think i have a transmission problem i guess it is common
problem for w209
please advise me a good Extended car warranty company ..
how much is it ?
should i get bumper to bumper or just powertrain ....?

continental warranty is good?
i talk to one of sales person who work for continental warranty company
ask me about $3090 for 4 years 100,000 miles
should i take it? is it worth it?
as i told you before, i think i have a tranmission problem.
i going to dealer tomow to check..
by the way free finace for 24 month.
so monthly payment is something around $125
and they told me it is not a used car warranty it is a new car warranty.
so but i don't really trust those guys. he also told me that MB dealer buy the extended warranty from them.. is it true?
please help me out guys

First find out exactly what each type of warranty covers. Bumper to Bumper sounds good, but i believe alot of companies have a list. as for the price if its "comparable" to the original mercedes extended warranty then 3 yrs/100,000 miles is $4,880. You choice comes out less but then again, you have to be sure what they're covering.

You want a "New Car warranty" that lists what it DOESN'T cover. Not one that lists what it does cover.
Search this form for posts by Toog4me. Only certain people at Continental warranty can offer the new car warranty that lists the few items it doesn't cover.
But since your factory warranty is expired and you have a pre-existing condition, you might have a difficult time getting an aftermarket warranty to cover your problem.
