In an effort to balance things out here, I turned 70 last October and am still loving my CLK430 cab (bought new in 2001) after nine Porsches; but recently acquired a W208 2002, CLK55 AMG cab from an OB/GYN friend, with only 20,238 miles on it. Siver/Black Designo and can't wait to do the wheels and exhaust and perhaps lowering. I run Mobil-1 in my veins (& arteries) as well as in my cars. Love to put my foot down in the 55. Am I old, are you kidding?

44 and I just bought my CLK. It will be used as a night on the town car as it replaces one of my 911 turbos. The remaining turbo is loud, obnoxious and barely street legal.

Well, that B&B 2 out exhaust is really loud as there's barely anything in the can to muffle it. When a police car comes by, I let off the gas and coast. It gets really obnoxious when I go WOT and back off the gas between shifts. That's when the unspent fuel gets dumped and it shoots large flames out the exhaust.

wow, how in a world did you manage to save up enough to afford to buy 2006 CLK by 16? I got my 2 year old Mitsubishi 3000 GTSL back in 1995 at age 21 and had to save for a year (paid cash). And that car was something like 24k back then.

..i was 15 years old, when i fell inlove with the C230 W203 body style...then i promised myself, before i turn 21 years old, im going to have a MBz, a C230. NOW, At 20 years old, i bought my own C32 ///AMG with no luck finding a C55 around the city (wasnt willing to travel at 50 mile radius for a car) didnt really expect to own an AMG but very very happy and proud i do :-].

NOW, i really want a 55AMG, and still love the W203 body style, but i dont see a point in owning two C Classes, so...im branching out to the super sexy beast of CLK55 AMG :-].

So now, before i turn 22, im going to have me a CLK55 AMG :-] hehehe

51 here. We have an 06 CLK350 (My car), 06 C230 Sport (Wifey's car), a Nissan Titan, and 2 collector cars. I have always worked on my cars as much as I can. I have the typical white collar job, but have gasoline in my blood. Between work, the cars and the family, I have plenty to keep me busy.

Thanks for the support. Its sometimes bad being so young. I have people give me weird looks when I park the car. But yeah, there's a complicated/personal story behind getting the CLK. No matter, I have it, and I enjoy it just as much or maybe more than the rest of you guys.

i have the clk almost a year do i got it at 19.

cause i got it on my own money i only got the 2.6 litre but soon i am going for a 55amg.
