Wow... I dont wanna be the bearer of bad news but uhh... $500... For a MAGNAFLOW ... I don't understand why you would put that on when for a little more you could have gotten an eissenman or even a brabus exhaust... I remember at my local exhaust shop Speedway Muffler... I got a magnaflow exhaust with tips installed for 140... Paying an extra 360 just dont seem that worth it for me especially since u still only really have one muffler...

The set up is an Magnaflow exhaust made for the Camaro's which are duals.
3in inlet and (2) 2 1/2 outlets. As for why I didn't go the other route? The Eissenman exhaust cost$500 for 1.And those don't have 2 outlets for the other tailpipe. And there is no way in hell anyone can fit another muffler on the other side.I don't know..you do the math?By the way this set up sounds just like the eissenman exhaust.

I really like how the dual exhaust looks. It even's out the rear section really well.I have looked at many exhaust's including the eissenman, but that single exhaust tip/look just doesn't look right.Well everyone has different taste, but for me I just rather have that dual tip cause it look's aggressive

looks nice but it seems like you would get VERY uneven airflow to the 2 pipes, i mean look at the way the piping is set up, the air would have to REVERSE and go back around where the spare tire is and make a u turn to get out of the right pipe

I would have to agree with you that the dual looks like how it should have come from the factory. Nice choice.

Yea, you might be right about the the uneven air flow due to having the 2nd pipe going around the spare tire. But on cold mornings when I start up the car,I see the same amount of air flow coming out of each exhaust tip.But honestly I'm not too concern about major performance wise because my car is not S/C. N/A car's need some sort of back preasure.I would be more concern if my car was forced inducted because then I would need as much as exhaust flow out possible.Anyway I intedended to have the dual set up so that it would have the dual look and even's out the rear section nicely...and to have that "aggressive" look.

where did u get it done for $500??? Did it include cutting the bumper? I basically want the same thing done but I only want the original AMG tips welded on to the other side and a pipe routed to the other side.

Well I'm really picky so I did the bumper cutting myself. You can order the newer model amg lower bumper cut out piece for $160.00, part #209.885.402 and have that replace your exsiting bumper cut out so that now you can have 2 holes. As for having another pipe run to the other side, you would need to have an muffler with dual outlets for that extra pipe to run.The job will cost you $500 +$160 for that bumper piece. But if you're doing the amg tips,I suggest you get that piece that way it would look exactly like oem.
Tell him that Phat sent you

Looks REALLY good! I agree, it's unbalanced with only 1 pipe. Too bad your mod won't work on the convertible!

Why not? The convertible and non-convertible are the same.
