Spongy brakes?....

hey guys,

just recently i bought a 03 w209 coupe, and notice a diffrence in braking power compared to my previous 04 325ci...

the pedal feels a bit spongy; is this normal with the w209?
or should i just do a bleed of the lines?
thanks

from canada eh!

Mercedes
I had a 2003 CLK500 and overtime the brakes did lose their firmness, even with new pads and rotors and a brake fluid change. It was one of the reasons why I got rid of it. I don't know if it's normal, but it happened with my old car with age.

ah ok...i may just upgrade up to SS lines if the bleeding/pad replacement doesnt correct the problem...

thanks for the heads up.
