I just bought a 2004 clk 500 there was no phone so I get a malfunction screen when I start or shut down the vehicle. I don't need another phone how do I get rid of this code?

It is annoying. There's only one way to get rid of it unfortunately. Take it to your dealer and plead with them to hook it up to their Star Diagnose system and remove the message.

Some dealers will do it. Others won't.
