Rain Sensor too sensitive

Hi,

Here it is now rainy season in Portland, OR. My 2004 CLK 500 seems to have a rain sensor problem. It responds to rain too sensitively. So even in drizzling of rain it moves too quickly. I think there is no option to control the sensitivity in CLK. Have anyone had the similar problem? Anyone replace the sensor? Thanks.

This is a known problem, most guys on here had the dealer replace under warranty. I haven't had a problem since mine was replaced.

How can prove it if it is not raining in dealership?

Thank you for replies.
Typically the dealership is a bit resistant. How can I easily prove or show it when I am in dealership?
