thumbs up to a BLACK SL500

This past Saturday, I saw a black SL500 stopped next to me on a stoplight. The guy look over and I gave him two thumbs up to acknowledge his car. He ignores me and looked away. I said to myself, which is fine with me if you felt that you have a better car. The next things he did to get on my nerve are. He floored his car and sped away really fast and turns into my lane.

I have gave this guy thumbs up for his nice and expensive car. But at that moment in time I’m not going to give him any notion that he has a faster car. I turn my car to the unwanted left lane and we both stopped on an intersection waiting for a green light. I burned him two lights in a row. On the third lights I yields to 15 mph or less because I saw some serious potholes ahead. The guy flew by me and I saw his car shock hitting those potholes. His left rims are gone. I can't see the right rims, hope they’re gone too.

I passed him slowly and I gave him thumbs up again with a kindly smiles. He gave me his two middle fingers!!! I said, "Thank You and I laughed out loud"

By the way I was driving my M3

Some drivers are just such stock up jackasses. People can not take a complement anymore. I once gave a thumbs up to a guy in e55 and he looked at me like I ate his lunch. I was in my e430.

Cool

Next time, tell the richer guy "wanna a match ?"
CLK500 can beat the much heavier SL500 as well.

I don't really care whether he is rich or not. I seldom see a guy drive a SL, that's why I gave him the thumbs up.

I have seen a lot of chicks drove SL... specially in light color, Silver. 60 plus percent of the time....Whats going on???

Shine, how's your beast coming together???
Have you install the Fin/Spoiler yet??? That's a must SEE!!!

I'm glad you smoked him. Maybe he learned a lesson, though I doubt it...

CLK55 and Yukon Denali
It never ceases to amaze me... About 2 weeks ago I was driving home from my office and as I came to a stop a stunning Aston Martin pulls up next to me. I simply looked at the driver (male) and gave him an approving nod and an ear to ear smile. He looked at me as though I had his wife's head in my lap.

We parted at the light but at the next light we were next to each other. As hard as it was for me to say (Astons are my favorite), I put my windown down and got his attention and commented, "Thats a great color for a jag." Before he could get anything out, an trust me he was trying, I put my window up- and once again, ear to ear smile, baby!

'13 SL550 '15 C400 4MATIC and a really old Honda Accord
Perhaps those people are thinking you guys are coming on to them which is completely stupid when the only thing on your mind is how nice the car they have. Or like you said completely stuck up as hell.

this just to shows you that majority of MB driver are snobs. When I drive my C5 all C5 owners act-knowledge, young, old, rich or poor. It's a respect to each other. When I drive my CLK430 and give a thumbs up to the other owner they ignored me. WTF! and oh yeah! next time if some %$#@er! giver the the finger, row down your window and ask he/she if that's his/her IQ.

I saw the guy again today with new wheels. Those wheels are H. O. T. hot! They are Barbus VI and its looked great on his balck SL.

Yeah… I did, as you know… I complemented his new set of wheels by pointing my finger at them and showing my affection by giving him thumbs up! I envy the guy has superb memory… he flash his middle finger to greed me and quickly pull back (probably, he didn't want the chick sat beside him and saw what a gentlemen he really is.)

A couple hours later, I was driving my CLK and saw the guy again. He made contact by waving his hand at me. And then he rolls down his window as I drop mine too… He asked: "Is this your car too???" and I said to him: "Yes, you want to race???" I turned up the volume before he can speak again…I closed the window and sped away. Too bad he didn't race me thought.

That is some funny stuf there, thats for sure. Raced this 911t from on the twists in the hills on I70 east till denver in the 360. We came to the 470 turn off they and when parted ways we both gave thumbs up for the rides. Hmm i guess SL drivers, or at least that one are about into themselves hmm. you got to lobe the 911t though what a car.
