Question I found the cup holder...

Okay, I didn't get a manual with the car, so I've just been stumbling around figuring stuff out. I didn't even think my 500 had any cupholders, until today when I bumped into it trying to get into my glovebox. Who knew?

There is one thing that I still need help with... How do I change my clock?

The secret to setting your clock is to use the wheel buttons to set the time through the menu, but the settings don't take place until you press the black trip reset button to the left of your instrument cluster. I think the manual and/or displays refer to that button as the "R" button.

This assumes I am recalling this correctly...

Cupholder. Look for the blue box in the picture below. To open it push it in and it should realse it out.

As for the clock go. You need to go in your menu options to do that.

thanks amusa, that is what i thought, do one of you mind taking a picture of the inside, think it might just be because mine is a euro model, but mine is only a storage space.

My friend the engineer commented, when seeing the cupholder: "That must be made in France."

He was joking of course, but he was making fund of the French. When making things, he says, the French will use the most complicated approach.

If you look at the way your cup holder works, it must have like 10 moving parts or something. American car cup holders have like 3 parts or something. It is a wonder to behold it working.

Congrats on finding the cupholder. Just keep flipping through the menu to adjust all the setting you want.

thanks moondust, i though u could get cup holder but asked several dealers and they said no, no such thing as front cup holder/holders. guess i am back to searching the breakers for broken clk with cup holder although no doubt it will be a nightmare to try and retrofit to mine.
