that's a great deal, I was quoted $3700 for 3 years/ to 100k by the mb dealer when the factory warranty expired. what kind of repairs did you make that added up to $15k?

valve cover gaskets, water pump, evo pullys(paid 50 outta pocket), rear main seal, valve train, power steering, thrust arms n bushings, thtsa ll i remember off the top of my head, i also spent 1200 on all BG flushes like trans, power steering, brake, engine, fuel induction but i cae outta pocket on those. Im just paranoid and the shop i go to knows how to deal with warranty and have a good rep with them n insurances

2005 CLK 320, had it since Sept. 2004. So in about 4 1/2 years it has 5,100 miles

Thanks for sharing your experience...what shop do you go to? I should be buying that car today if he will come down on the price some. I'll also get a warrenty and would like a good shop who knows how to deal with these companies. Thank you

Mars Auto Group in mannassas, va....he's the most honest man you'll ever meet. he also does prepurchase inspections. hes a master mercedes tech for 15 years, does a perfect job n way less than the dealer
