Angry Another problem

So today I brought my car in and got new front brake pads because they were very low. As the mechanic took off one of the lug nut studs, it came out stripped. He took a look at the hub and the thread on the hub is stripped. He said I need a new hub and bearing and all new lug studs. This ever happen to anyone. He said its happened a few times. As I was leavig, he said "only in a mercedes can kinds of things like this happen". He said its about 400 for the hub, bearing, and studs plus about 1.5 hours of labor. I want to see if I can find these parts anywhere else. Anyone hae any ideas?

go to your local shop man and get the lugs from dealer. Local shops can do it cheaper.
