right so to start the story it was about 2 weeks ago and i went to start the car that morning and i get the warning light saying brake wear visit workshop, so i say ****e there goes my plans for upgrades, (its been a year now and i still haven't decided aftermarket head unit or merc one) and all the problems associated with this for example if i buy bluetooth for car phone i would then need to get a merc unit or bluetooth would be useless. same goes for ipod wire. anyway back to point of story
so i book the car in with one of the new service guys at Mercedes Benz of Ayr very helpful from moment one and i request he gets me some quotes for the work, as i have had Mercedes check the car in great detail in the past i assume i will require new pads all round but also new rear brake disc's.he gives me a price of 450 roughly.
so book it in for the 14th and he says will get mechanic to check it, then go from there.

so i arrive there and they take a look at the car and they put it right up against the seating area window so i can see what was happening, then about 45 Min's later guy comes out and say's right all pads need changed,I think yes will still have some spare cash for upgrades, so i just get mot done with extra cash then about another 45 Min's later mechanic comes out and says Mr Kerr can i take you to the workshop(i think OH Sh**e) so i go through and he says take a look here are shows the disc's are fu**ed on the rear so they need replaced, but earlier on i had said i only had 400 to service guy(credit crunch lol) which i was now well over by about 80 quid so mechanic says i know Craig said only pads need changed, so don't worry about it he will sort it out with you. so i say yeah just go ahead then so basically to finish the story they charged me half of normal labor charge RESULT
it is now clear my MB are back up in JD power based on my experience.
