Great article. I remember when C&D (and others) gave the 1998 ML320 a rave review, too. I subscribe to C&D, MT, Automobile, Auto Week, and Auto World. I've yet to see any of these five rags criticize any vehicle made by a company that has a decent adverti$ing budget. Too bad Yugo didn't figure that out or it would have received a nice review, as well. Yugoslavia was Communist back then and apparently didn't have a clue as to how our capitalist system truly works. For some semblance of objectivity, AutoSpies is about as good as it gets.
