Question: Aux input

Hi,

I have AUX input in my glove box, but it's kind of inconvenience for me to turn on/off my Ipod, My question is, is it too complicate to run an long AUX cable from the glove box to central console? I think some people may like that too, thanks.

I ran a 6' cable from my glove box down along the outside of the center console however I can't figure out how to get it under the console so I can bring it up through the outside cup holder.

I removed the cup holder and everything lines up perfectly as far as cable distance etc... I just can't see how I can get it from outside the carpet to under the console without drilling. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

I ran it the same way and loosened up the bolts in the storage area of the console. By doing that I was able to slide the cable through. I don't have the cupholder as my car is an 05, but I would think the set up would be similar

I will take picures once complete but up to now all I was able to do was to run the wire under the glovebox and down along the console (tucking the wire up between the carpet and the side of the console). I get as far as the outside of the arm rest but I cant get it under the arm rest.

I wish I had an aux input - would have saved me 2 grand.

Thanks, I have just ordered a 6' cable. At first, I thought the cable should go behind the Navi, and controls, then go into the console, that was too hard for me. But now sounds a lot better, at least I may be able to do it myself.

I bought mine from Radio Shack for $8 (6 ft) Once I get the cable to come up through the center console I will be very happy!
