Question for those the own post-2006 Clk 500 with Xenon headlight.

Does your headlight turned 15 degree at low speed when you turn the steering to pull into your garage? I don't see my headlight does that (it should have this feature according to the 2006 model brochure). I don't know if mine is not working but I do see the headlight go up and down when everytime I turn on headlight. Btw, I have never ever even use or test out my headlight washer to see if it even work. What a useless feature....but the little cut out tap for the pop up washer nozzles look cool.....

I didn't realize the headlights were supposed to turn. Are you perhaps talking about the fog lights?

On mine, the fog lamp that is on the side of the direction of the turn lights up. It gives the impression of the lights cornering, but the lights don't actually swivel.

That would be stupid because the foglight does not lit the road far enough to see and most people only use foglight on foggy days so it would be very inconvience just to turn on the foglight only if you want to use these feature. I'm 100% sure the our's headlight does move up and down when the light turn on/off and so why wouldn't it not designed to move from side to side when in turn? I'm 100% sure the on BMW, the headlight turn and not the foglight.

The fog lights do not have to be in the on position for them to activate. Next time you are parked in front of a reflective window or just sitting still in your garage, turn your wheel to the left or right and you will see your fog lights turn on. And it actually does make a difference, and it is helpful at low speeds -- so I wouldn't classify it as "stupid." I live off of a windy road, and when driving at night around the corners at lower speeds, the extra light does help. It also comes in handy in parking decks when you are trying to turn in between cars or pillars.

As for the main lights themselves, I checked my manual and it actually does appear that they pivot as you turn your wheel. I guess I am used to it now so I don't really notice anymore.
