I think it looks great! Well, maybe not the Hyundai Sonata taillights..... I think Car and Driver Magazine said that it's based on the C class chassis, just like our CLKs.

I like the current CLK but always thought of it as a girls car because of it smallish size. I like the new one more mainly because it is bigger. I love big coupes. I love medium sized coupes. Heck, I just love coupes but bigger is better in my book.

you know... I like the new design, it's great!
I just hate the fact that they changed the name to a E-klasse coupe. it pisses me off. Since I was a teen, I was in love with the Mercedes CLK. (early w208 model). The CLK was always a goal for me to get one when I get a real job haha

Wow. Finally a return to some sense of.. masculinity.. for the CLK. I loved my 2001 CLK, but skipped this gen because CLK looks like a soccer mom's birthday present.
Glad to see MB is finally returning to form with this line. It will be a close call between a 2010 CLK and an S5.

Not really feeling this one yet. The w208s & 209s still look supreme. That front end bugs me a little on this new "CLK" and not to mention that weak attempt to use l.e.d's for the fogs. The SL did the same thing after 2008. Im still no loving the new 2009 r230's.
My girlfriend has the 06clk500 sport, so I showed her these new pictures of the clk and she just frowned and said, "looks very toyotish solarish & hondish accordish."

In real life the car looks way stronger than a CLK. Maybe that means less ladies in Beverly Hills will drive them than the CLK... Although the E coupe I saw was being driven by a lady of a certain age.
I'm waiting for the cabriolet version when that comes out and I would like to compare it to the upcoming Audi A7 convertible.

Saw one on the road today, being driven by an older lady with a Hillary haircut.
Size-wise, it looks like a CLK on the street. When you see it, you know it's not as big as a CL (nor does it have the CL's presence) or even CLS. It looks like a CLK with a different front end. I still like the W208 and W209s. See sig for details!

I did not personnaly seen the interior of this new E-coupe
but why is the New 2010 E550-C $20K less than the 2009 CLK550 ?
Do I have the wrong numbers?
If not, did MB cheap on the new E-Coupe to change there buyer range...
