Don't know the price, but I hope you don't need to know because you hit it/cracked it. It is really low and you need to be careful with curbs, parking bumpers, etc. I know becasue I scratched the underside after having it one week. No visible damage but frustrating. As far as I can tell the front is pretty much one large piece.

Sorry to hear that.
I got the AMG style package price list, if only for the front bumper
~ $1350 less, you still keep the fog light, right ?

It is a shame... I was going about ~15mph in heavy traffic...
I was thinking about something and just ran into a truck in front of me. My dealer quoted me about $1650... sometimes I get carried away thinking about stuff and totally forget about what I was doing... It is more dangerous for me going 15mph in traffic then going 80mph on highway.
The body shop contacted another dealer and will get it for around $1450...
The guy at the body shop asked me if I wanted to go for other brands with that kind of money or just go for regular front bumper for $370... how are the prices for other brands??

Was the quote you got for 1,650 for the front bumper painted or does it needed to be preped then painted for this price? Thanks in advance.

That is just for the part. Refinishing costs extra. About 8 hours of labor at $40/hr. Does this sound about right??

That is a grip of money. Maybe you should check out some after market parts like Brabus. I thought the new front bumpers would be in the same ballpark of the previous AMG bumpers, which was around 1,000. But I guess I was wrong. Perhaps you can ask the bodyshop to locate a used one if it's a lot less.

but with Brabus bumper you'll need to get those 4 Brabus foglights to make it look good.

Yes I did.
Benzel Busch quoted me for 1650 and Prestige 1450.
The service and Benzel Busch is nice but takes more than a couple of weeks to get an appointment.

Have you considered going to a body shop. There is a great body shop in Englewood called Car Kraft. Speak to Carlo [the owner]. Phone # 201-816-0404. They do great work. He might be able to save you some money. By the way, did you buy or lease?

If you leased you probably have to use authentic MB parts, so you don't get hit with a surcharge when your lease expires.

I think the Brabus front bumper fits on the original mounts and includes the foglights - the MSRP is $1240 + $350 paint + $210 install. The Kleemann front bumper MSRP is $1300 but I have no idea if it uses the stock mounts. Lorinser: no comment.

Thank you for the info. The car is being fixed at another body shop in Edgewater (Prestige Auto Body Shop) though. I saw a lot of fancy cars being fixed there and it was the closest from where the accident happened.

And yes I'm leasing the car so I had to go with AMG bumper.
