Tinted tail lights.
On my last tinted tail light post, one person asked me to take some pics of my tinted tail light from a distance. The weather was beautiful today so I took some pics.

This one shop want to charges me $150 for two lights. I decided just to buy the film $20 and did it myself. I screwed up the first 2 try but found the trick to get it around the curve area. Water and squeches will not work around the curve area. The trick is to use the film as is so it would stick then use your thump to stretch the film around and over the curve area. I then use a needle to pock the air bubble and used my thump to force the air out. To prevent the edge of the film from lip up around the curve area, I allowed it to dry completely first before I trimmed the film off.

This is going to be a silly question, did you do it on the inside or the outside of the lense? I haven't pulled mine yet to see if you can actually get to the inside of it. Thanks.

There's no way you can do it on the insdie with tint film. But I think you can spray the inside with tail light paint if you want to goes that route.
