Car pulsates to a stop

Hello All,

I have a wierd issue and was wondering if anyone else has had this.
I have a 2005 Clk 500, when trying to slowly come to a stop the car will kind sutter/pulsate to a stop. The break pedal is steady the whole time.
I have already had all 4 brakes and rotors changed and it still does it. It is noticeble once you are coming to a stop at around 10mph.

Any ideas? Bent rims? Defective transmission as it is in gear 1 when this happens?

my first guess would be the tranny shifting into 1st. you could try slowing down to 15mph and then manually shifting into 1st from 2nd to see if it reproduces the problem.

I had a similar problem on my 04 500. The car was also pullling to one side. I had a front strut arm replaced, with alignment, now no problems.

I think you may experience the same result even when shifting.
I have brand new brakes on my 06 350 and it feels like there's tremendous brake fade.
I know what you're talking about, I called MB but they said it was nothing...I'm waiting for them to tell me I have to replace some kind of $5000 lugnut. lol.
