I understand your hesitation. Though I personally switched from Halogens to Xenons as you see in my signature. I didn't have to buy any new harness nor did my Authorized Mercedes Tech (who works specifically on Mercedes vehicles) say that any harness was required when he installed the bi-xenons. All he had to do was set the settings to xenon present. NOMO has just recently done his conversion which he worked on and had mercedes work on so he knows first hand. A general auto mechanic and a mercedes tech are two different mechanics when it comes to knowing about mercedes (no disrespect to your mechanic). There are other guys on here that have gone from halogens to xenons and have had no problems. They will not be active (move when steering different directions), but that's about the only difference, plus you won't get that unless you trade your car in for another one with bi-xenons. If its a harness you're worried about I doubt you'll find bi-xenons for cheaper and if you need a harness (highly doubt) then you can spend the extra money ($2000) you saved to buy harnesses. Lol.

Just let ne know, but I understand the hesitation and there have been many people to do the conversion.

Thanks!

NOMO-Ryan

Thanks for your help buddy! Like I stated I did the same conversion, so I know for sure that I didn't need a harness.

sorry--never meant to spread "false information"--just reporting what I had been told.
Lights look great--but I'm going to wait for now.

THanks

Thanks, good luck with your search.

These will probably be the lowest priced xenons you guys will find. So let me know if you are interested.

Thanks!

I think he was mislead by the dealer, cause they told me the same thing too.

But I trust you guys, because it can tell by the pics of you car. if it originally came with Xenon, it came with power wash too. but your's didn't, so i believe you guys successfully did the conversion.
