FS: W209 Bi-xenons
Helping a friend sell these, but he is on the fence so if he gets his price today he will sell them. If not then he will more than likely just keep them.
They are used and off of a 2005 or 2006 CLK500 (I don't remember, but I am sure they fit all CLK's. Someone chime in if they think I'm incorrect). NO broken tabs and work fine, he is just in need of money.
He is looking to get $950 shipped anywhere in the US. If you want them please let me know ASAP as he really wants an offer today or he will end up keeping them.
Thanks in advance!

bi-xenons
I have a 2009 CLK 350 cabriolet---do you know if the bi-xenon's are "plug-in" or does it require modification? I suspect the "adaptive" features of lights turning w/ wheel won't work.
Thanks,
Richard

According to my service advisor they fit all 209's and are plug and play. They just need to be set to xenon present. Let me know fellas.

That is what I was told by the parts department and my SA who asked a tech. This is a great deal and would like to help my buddy sell these soon (since he owes me money too! lol).
Let me know Richard.

spoke with my body guy who has worked on all (previous) and present cars of mine--who has done lots of MB repairs--he states that replacing halogens with xenons will require a wiring harness as the requirements are very different. Years ago I once bought Marchal halogen headlamps and burned up the wiring harness on a Toyota---so I'm a bit timid--
thanks

Dude your buddy is WRONG. I just did it. on THIS car. Check my threads. IT WORKS. Look at the back of the headlight then look at this one.
First you talked to the dealer, now it's your buddy.... If you don't want to buy them then don't, but don't make other people weary about the set up by spreading false information.
Let me say this again. I JUST DID THIS SWAP AND IT WORKED.
